Day 19 answer: Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The image was captured by the KOMPSAT-3A satellite. KOMPSAT-3A was launched from the Jasny Dombarovsky launch site in Russia on March 15th 2015 and is capable of capturing 55 cm spatial resolution optical imagery. KOMPSAT-3A is part of the KOMPSAT series of satellites that includes both optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites.
